Geneva Health's New Zealand Nursing Recruitment Team

Kia Ora! And welcome to our completely New Zealand-owned health recruitment company – Geneva Health International. We have been recruiting Nurses and other Health Professionals into New Zealand for 10 years now and so we can offer you an excellent service based on many years of experience and knowledge.

We would like to introduce you to the awesome team that will assist you in sourcing a position in New Zealand:

Mindy McArthur – Candidate Sourcing Consultant

My role at Geneva Health is the Candidate Sourcing Consultant. I will be the first person you will talk to at Geneva Health as I will contact you once you register with us and let you know what a wonderful destination New Zealand is for which to live and play and let you know how Geneva Health will make that possible.

I have had the advantage of working for Geneva Health as a Registered Nurse in both the UK and NZ so therefore feel that I can best advise you on your realistic transition. It also gives me total faith in our Company.

I will be working with you from your initial inquiry right through the challenge of gaining your registration - be it with the New Zealand Nursing Council, New Zealand Anaesthetic Technician Society or Midwifery Council. I can also offer initial registration advice for Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Dieticians and Speech Language Therapists.

Once we have your Registration underway I can then pass you on to our dedicated Placement Consultant who will work with you one-on-one to find the right job for you in the right location.

I look forward to working with you so register online at the Geneva Health website and expect a phone call or email from me in the next couple of days.

Marie Dilly – Account Manager – Nursing Recruitment

I have been with Geneva Health for our four years and have worked in both the Temporary and Permanent Services Divisions - this has given me the opportunity of building up knowledge and a network of job opportunities and clients in New Zealand.

My background prior to joining Geneva Health is a diversified nursing career and also sales background so a combination of these skills means I would be an advocate for you - finding the best possible role with the most benefits I can obtain through my communication and negotiating skills.

I really enjoy finding out about people and exploring their strengths and desire for a new role and them, matching ‘their wish list” with the role that ticks the right boxes.
I have a strong focus on the aged care sector nationally and also enjoy finding roles that I am frequently asked for from candidates as “something different”.

My service covers the follow aspects –

Erin McGlynn – Account Manager – Nursing Recruitment

My name is Erin McGlynn and I am the Account Manager for overseas nurses seeking permanent placements in New Zealand. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1991. I have worked in numerous positions in New Zealand as a Registered Nurse and Management positions within the Healthcare sector. I also spent 3 years working in the UK.

I have worked for Geneva Health International for four years now and began working in the Candidate Sourcing Team of the Australian Business and eventually became the Senior Consultant for the Australian business unit.

Kay White – Mobilisation Consultant

I have been with Geneva Health for four years and my role with the Geneva Health Permanent Recruitment team is one of mobilisation and support of candidates - so that means that once you have your job offer in NZ, I am here to advise and support you in regards to registration with the Nursing Council of NZ, Immigration, accommodation and ensure you are ready to start work - on time!

My background is in Health Administration so I have a good understanding of how the health system works and how to get the best out of people. I spent 6 years in the UK and am very understanding of the stresses and strains that go with traveling from one side of the world - into unknown territory.

Once the placing consultant has found you a role in NZ, your file is handed to me, I will then contact you and find out how I can best help and support your move. I look forward to meeting you all and making your dream happen!

Julia Johnson – National Permanent Services Manager

My name is Julia Johnson and I am the National Permanent Services Manager. I am a Registered Nurse and previously worked mainly in the areas of Operating Theatre and Nursing Education in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Fiji.

I have worked with Geneva Health International since 1998 as a Recruitment Consultant for the Australia and New Zealand business units and most recently as the Manager for the New Zealand Nursing and Medical/Clinical Services division.

We have a wonderful team of Consultants who have a long and successful history of assisting Nurses and Medical staff with securing positions in New Zealand and we look forward to working with you.
